Communication started out good. However, the girls contacted me about 1/2 hour before they were scheduled and told me that they accidentally booked me on the wrong day. Then I received another message saying that their car broke down. Two different excuses, which seemed odd but but I said no problem and we scheduled for the next day instead. The next day 2 ladies came and did a move out cleaning for me and did a very good job cleaning. I paid $400 cash for the cleaning and was told that I would be sent a paid invoice by e-mail promptly. I have yet to receive this paid invoice after multiple requests for it thru Thumbtack and by text. They are acknowledging that they are receiving my messages, but refusing to send me a paid invoice. She’s telling me on text that she can’t receive my message. However, by responding, she’s confirming that she’s receiving my message and just ignoring my request for a paid invoice. I need the invoice as proof that I had my apartment cleaned professionally when I moved out, but the mistake that I made was that I paid cash and didn’t pay directly thru Thumbtack.
