With a deadline of August 19, 2024 E B Mann had not completed the project over a month later. It was one reason after another for the delay. In frustration I told him to keep what I gave him and that I would find someone else to complete the project. This was a mistake on my part. The project was to build a custom desk. Another contractor pointed out to me that the frames for the drawers and cabinet did not measure the same across the top vs. the bottom and that they would have to be remade or the drawers would not slide properly. Additionally, one of the frames had a 2-3 inch hairline crack at the bottom of the frame which would adversely affect the integrity of the frame. I have and still will consider Thumbtack for work I need done, but I would never consider E B Mann. Based on the quality of the work, I was grossly overcharged for the work that was done.
