After receiving a ridiculously high quote from another plasterer, I searched for someone local via Thumbtack. Based on reviews, I reached out for a quote from Kura's Drywall. I got a response within hours with a quote that was reasonable for what I needed - removal of popcorn ceiling with an application of a skim coat for a bedroom. Once I accepted the quote, I was offered a date to start within 3 days. The timing worked out perfectly for me. The project was completed within 2 days. These days, I have found it "pros" don't always respond to inquiries, don't get back with availability/quotes, show up late, and basically don't take pride in providing good service. Kura drywall exemplified what it means to be a professional: prompt responses, reasonable quote, arrived on time, efficient, neat and an overall nice guy. I wouldn't hesitate to use his services again and recommend to others.

From my first contact attempt with Filipe, I was blown away with his responsiveness. Filipe immediately scheduled a day and time for an on-site quote that was convenient for me. Once he arrived, he explained the work involved in repairing my bathroom ceiling and a quote was provided on the spot. He was very punctual arriving to my home and went straight to the job.
