After receiving a ridiculously high quote from another plasterer, I searched for someone local via Thumbtack. Based on reviews, I reached out for a quote from Kura's Drywall. I got a response within hours with a quote that was reasonable for what I needed - removal of popcorn ceiling with an application of a skim coat for a bedroom. Once I accepted the quote, I was offered a date to start within 3 days. The timing worked out perfectly for me. The project was completed within 2 days. These days, I have found it "pros" don't always respond to inquiries, don't get back with availability/quotes, show up late, and basically don't take pride in providing good service. Kura drywall exemplified what it means to be a professional: prompt responses, reasonable quote, arrived on time, efficient, neat and an overall nice guy. I wouldn't hesitate to use his services again and recommend to others.

I contacted Filipe to drywall my mom's bathroom in Fairhaven who will be listing her home shortly. We have been doing our own renovations, however drywall is where it stops! You need to have a professional and someone who will be quick because time is money right? I didn't know where to begin so went on Thumbtack to find someone local. He was the only one who got back to me that day so I hired him pretty much on the spot! He promised the quote by end of the day which he delivered! It's tough to get reliable and honest people so when you do, you appreciate it!

I contacted Filipe about taping/finishing my installed drywall in my garage conversion project at my home. He responded almost immediately and was even able to get out the same day to look at the job. He went over my needs/wants and had a quote out to me less than an hour later. He was out to start on it the next day and everything was finished less than a week later. It looks amazing and is ready for primer/paint. I highly recommend him for all your drywall needs.
