I was searching for a land surveyor when I happened upon Thumbtack's website. Joseph Webby replied immediately. I liked that. We communicated through email and set a time frame for him to come out to survey and stake the property lines. He showed on the date he said he would be here. He performed his services in one day and was available to answer my questions. He is extremely professional, easy to talk to and most of all, he is reliable, which is very important. I highly recommend Joseph Webby.

Joe performed a survey of our property. He responded quickly, got me a quote quickly and performed the survey faster than I could get it done anywhere else. Joe explained everything well and his work was exceptional. Joe is also very easy to talk to, professional and answered many questions. I would recommend Joe highly. One of the best contractors I have had the pleasure to deal with on Cape Cod. Thank-you Joe for a job well-done!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Boundary Retracement Surveys necessary for planning and construction. Wetlands Permitting. Site Plans for Zoning Board of Appeals. Residential "lot stake outs" for fences etc.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When hiring a Land Surveyor it is important that they are licensed with the state. I stand behind my work and own it 100%. Never make expensive improvements to your propert without knowing exactly where your property lines are. Only a Professional Land Surveyor has the knowledge and experience to do that legally.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

The practice of Land Surveying is as much an art as it is a science. The equipment we use is not magic, it does not give us the answers, like a nail gun is to the hammer, a robotic total station helps me pound more nails faster, however its a carpenters knowledge and experience that helps him create.
