Hey there, I'm Krista! And I'm so happy you have landed here on my page. I've worked in the health and wellness field for a decade and have helped so many kindred clients overcome chronic aches and pain, manage stress/overwhelm from daily life demands, and create preventative wellness practices for life long health and well being. Maybe you feel like your body is always tight and achey. Or you notice things you used to be able to do without much thought, feel harder, like balancing on one leg or picking up heavy things for instance. Maybe you notice that you feel overwhelmed by daily life stress, experience anxiety, shallow breathing, difficulty relaxing and need a Yoga bestie to not only help you unwind your body, but also just to see you, offer supportive mindfulness practices, and gently guide you when you are feeling overwhelmed. If your low back, hips, or knees prevent you from: Sitting or standing for extended periods Walking for extended periods Participating in athletic activities you enjoy. Getting up and down from the floor Or maybe you have flares that seem to come out of nowhere from time to time, or just want to prevent injury and do everything in your power to ensure that your low back and whole body stays healthy for the long term, please reach out, there is so much we can do to get you feeling and moving at your best! 2) Supporting women who need a holistic compliment to mental health counseling and who feel like they need more clarity on their life and spiritual path. If you feel ungrounded, like you've lost your way, unsure of what you true purpose is, like you've lost your spark my Heart Roots Holistic Coaching may be just the thing for you! 3) Supporting beginners to Yoga and Strength Training. I know it can feel overwhelming and frustrating to join a group class where: There is very little personal attention Feels like everything is moving too fast Feels like you aren’t receiving any of the benefits And you feel fearful not understanding the movements might lead to injury! I specialize in helping you create the building blocks of movement so that more than just knowing a few poses and movement drills, you develop the awareness of what your body can and can’t do and how to adapt movements to what your body needs, and how to progress step by step towards joining larger group classes, and other athletic adventures. This way no matter what class you take, you will know how to navigate it according to your unique needs. I am a trained BackFitPro specialist, Structural Yoga Therapist and Mobility Coach, and I’ve got over a decade of experience working with hundreds of clients. My approach is unique in that everything we do is based on the health of your nervous system! I firmly believe that once you build a solid foundation, then the sky is the limit for what you are capable of doing, the innate intelligence of your body is already there, and it's just a matter of helping you reveal it's genius. I've worked with several personal trainers over quite a few years, and not one comes close to being as good as Krista! Her expertise in knowing how the body works, how it heals (after big or small injuries!), and how it gets stronger is amazing. Krista's keen focus on your particular needs (and potential), along with her immense knowledge of exercises helps you to continue to move forward even if (when!) modifications are needed. Krista listens well, is always upbeat and encouraging. Working with Krista is truly a joy!

Krista is a very compassionate teacher, as well as being highly skilled. I feel really comfortable and at peace in her class, and I love that her classes are judgement free and not at all competitive. I came to Krista with minimal experience in yoga and a lot of limitations. Since practicing with her consistently, I have grown to be more flexible, and strong. The simple techniques she teaches such as joint mobility exercises have helped with knee pain while doing strenuous activities like hiking. My Yoga practice has deepened thanks to her and I feel inspired to continue to push myself further!

I started working with Krista a few months ago and it's been a fantastic experience! I've had trouble with my lower back for years and she assessed my specific movement issues and built a plan to improve, strength, and reduce pain. She's always positive and has a great attention to detail. It's clear that she really cares about her clients and is a rad person in general. Krista goes over and above to help and accommodate. She really knows her stuff. Highly recommended!
