Introduction
When joining my voice studio you are entering an international community of vocalists of all levels. Every three months my students from across the globe meet for a virtual recital followed by a reception. Some vocalists accompany themselves and some sing along piano tracks I recorded for them. Each student focuses on a different musical style and interprets their songs in their own creative way - be it jazz, musical theatre, pop, indie, folk, or worship music. My expertise is in jazz and songwriting, and so if the students are interested, they are encouraged to write their own songs and learn to improvise. ➺ ABOUT ME ∙ voice teacher for 10+ years, also an active performer and composer (sang for Lionel Richie, the Lord of the Rings soundtrack composer Howard Shore, and Dave Holland to name a few) ∙ MM, New England Conservatory and BM, Berklee College of Music ∙ developed curriculum for voice masterclasses across the globe (Panama Jazz Festival, Voice Teachers’ Conference in China, Bratislava Jazz Workshop etc.) ∙ taught more than 1000 remote voice, music theory and songwriting lessons ➺ YOUR FIRST LESSON When you first reach out to me I'll give you a call to schedule a lesson and learn a bit about you and your goals. Your first trial lesson is 60 mins long, half the original price, and taught via ZOOM platform. You don't need anything but your laptop with ZOOM installed. The lessons are adjusted according to your goals but typically, there are two sections: technical and practical. 1. Technical (20-30 mins) - We go over a couple of exercises tailored to your voice. This is something like gym and strength training for the vocal athlete you are!:) 2. Practical (30-40 mins) - It's vocal race time! We work on a song we chose together before the first lesson. Learning a song can take anywhere from 4 to 16 weeks depending on your experience and the level of detail we go into. After each lesson I usually give homework, consisting of short tracks I record especially for you to sing along with. The more you can find time to practice, the quicker you see the results. ➺ TEACHING PHILOSOPHY ∙ I believe in balance of encouragement and honest feedback ∙ Slow and steady work brings real results ∙ Voice is a part of identity, each one deserves to be treated with high respect and care ∙ Learning in a community is more effective and fun ∙ 98.5% of humans can learn to sing...and most likely you are not that 1.5% ➺ PRICING ∙ 60min lesson 2x/week - $60 • 60 min lesson 1x/week - $70 ∙ 60 min lesson biweekly - $80 ALL LESSONS ARE HELD ONLINEp

I was so glad to find Ester because she's helped me in all the aspects of music I wanted to improve. She has improved my singing technique with great warmups, she has inspired and helped with my songwriting offering great feedback and support, and she's even bringing my piano playing to the next level. I highly recommend Ester to anyone looking for a vocal or music coach.

I am a few lessons in with Ester, and couldn’t be happier. Ester engages you from the very beginning intro lesson, and very soon you’re learning a song of your choice and it feels great! I love the clear homework that she sets for practice, and the supporting audio recordings she makes between lessons. No need to search any further, if you’re looking for a top class voice coach!

Details: 45 - 64 years old • No, the student cannot read music • No formal training • Rock • What the teacher recommends • Pop • 60 minutes • Remotely (phone or internet)

Ester is an AWESOME teacher! We are doing lessons remotely via Zoom, but she was still able to easily identify technique areas to work on (tongue tension and working on my mixed voice/break). She has helped me to expand my range (both in pitch and style) and has also helped me become a better songwriter. She is kind, positive, and funny and our lessons are always very enjoyable. So happy that I found Ester!!

I have been taking vocal/piano lessons with Ester for about a year now. I can say that it really has been a pleasure working with her, she is an amazing instructor. Not only is she understanding of your limits (both in music and outside work/life commitments) but she also encourages you to take on challenges to reach your potential. She is also very understanding of the craziness of life, so scheduling has never been a struggle for me. Additionally, every 3 months or so she hosts a virtual recital which is a really great opportunity to perform what you have been working on. Ester really takes the time to get to know you, so don't be surprised if you end up chatting at the beginning of each lesson. For every lesson, Ester shows up ready and with a cheerful mood you'll find infectious. If you are looking to learn music just as a hobby or more seriously, look no further =)
