When joining my voice studio you are entering an international community of vocalists of all levels. Every three months my students from across the globe meet for a virtual recital followed by a reception. Some vocalists accompany themselves and some sing along piano tracks I recorded for them. Each student focuses on a different musical style and interprets their songs in their own creative way - be it jazz, musical theatre, pop, indie, folk, or worship music. My expertise is in jazz and songwriting, and so if the students are interested, they are encouraged to write their own songs and learn to improvise.

➺ YOUR FIRST LESSON
When you first reach out to me I'll give you a call to schedule a lesson and learn a bit about you and your goals. Your first trial lesson is 60 mins long, half the original price, and taught via ZOOM platform. You don't need anything but your laptop with ZOOM installed. The lessons are adjusted according to your goals but typically, there are two sections: technical and practical.
1. Technical (20-30 mins) - We go over a couple of exercises tailored to your voice. This is something like gym and strength training for the vocal athlete you are!:)
2. Practical (30-40 mins) - It's vocal race time! We work on a song we chose together before the first lesson. Learning a song can take anywhere from 4 to 16 weeks depending on your experience and the level of detail we go into.
After each lesson I usually give homework, consisting of short tracks I record especially for you to sing along with. The more you can find time to practice, the quicker you see the results.
