Tim just worked on winterizing and closing my above ground pool. He was very thorough, showed me the process and shared helpful tips/ info on pool maintenance, what to do to prevent damage and costly repairs, what to keep an eye on, etc. I'm extremely grateful for his services and for responding to my request & taking on this project when other vendors wouldn't. I will be contracting him again next season (and in the future). VERY highly recommended!

We have had absolutely horrible experiences with Pool companies on cape cod. The skimmer, vacuum system, filter and general plumbing on the pump and filter system has not worked since we purchased the house, pool came with the house. We had the three premier pool companies in the area come to resolve the problem and each one of them spent much of their time and my money adjusting one thing after another and the problem was never resolved. Tim came by and in an hour had identified the problem and developed a course of action to resolve the issue. Due to my past problems with pool companies I was skeptical but Tims confidence that he would fix the issues was so compelling that I agreed to move forward. He said that he would do it ASAP. Tim was here the next morning. He had already gotten the parts and dove right into the job. Three hours later he had replaced some incorrect plumbing, completely replaced the part of the piping that controlled the shut off and on between the main drain and the skimmer and cleaned out the impeller in the pump which was almost completely clogged with debris. Everything including the vacuum system was working like it had never before. Now came the bill. When Tim told me what I owed him I couldn't believe it. I thought he was mistaken. His bill was a 1/4 of what the other companies charged me to accomplish nothing. Plus, he didn't charge me for the hour and a half that he was here the first time. If you live in the cape and islands area of MA, own a pool and need it serviced you need to contact The Pool Guy. He is by far and away the most knowledgeable and cost effective contractor that I have had the pleasure to do business with.

Tim and his partner provided unbelievable, responsive, and prompt professional service for in ground swimming pool. Tim and his partner not only serviced the pool but also tested all of the components of our pool and discovered we needed we needed a T-Cell device. Tim immediately went to work and located one in less than 24 hours. In addition, he and his partner came in the evening after dark to place the new T -Cell. If I had to recommend one Pool Guy after on the many available in the surrounding Plymouth, MA area, I would recommend Tim and his partner because they are the best!! We look forward to them servicing our pool for years to come!! Shelle

I can’t recommend Tim enough to anyone who is looking to have their pool opened or serviced. He’s thorough, honest and shares a lot of valuable information about your pool that comes from his years of experience. A lot of info I haven’t even gathered from other pool pros. We haven’t had our pool opened in 3 years. He took the time to test our lines, get us a new pump, grids, replaced our PVC piping and fixed our liner, on top of adding chemicals and vacuuming. You just don’t get that kind of service anymore from anyone else. If you need help with your pool, I highly recommend Tim at Our Pool Guy. You won’t get a more hardworking, professional pool expert anywhere else!
