FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, my process is designed to ensure a smooth, personalized, and enjoyable experience that brings their vision to life. Here’s how it typically unfolds: 1. Initial Consultation: We start with a conversation, either in person or over the phone, to get to know each other. This is an opportunity to understand my customers' needs, preferences, the type of session they’re looking for (e.g., family portraits, individual portraits, events, proposals, headshots, etc.), and any specific expectations they have for the final images. 2. Concept Development & Planning: Based on our initial discussion, I collaborated with my customer to develop a tailored concept for the shoot. This included choosing the perfect location (studio, outdoor, home-based) and discussing outfits, themes, and styling options. I also address any questions or concerns and provide tips to help them feel confident and comfortable for the session. 3. Pre-Shoot Preparation: I’ll send a confirmation email or message summarizing the agreed-upon details and any necessary prep steps, like suggested clothing options or what to bring. I strive to keep communication clear and open throughout. 4. The Photo Session: On the day of the shoot, I create a relaxed and fun atmosphere. I aim to capture authentic expressions and genuine moments that reflect each customer’s unique personality or story. I guide poses as needed but also embrace spontaneous interactions to capture candid moments. 5. Post-Processing & Image Review: After the shoot, I carefully review and select the best shots, professionally editing and enhancing each image to bring out its best qualities while maintaining a natural and timeless look. 6. Client Review & Delivery: I provide a private, password-protected online gallery for clients to review their photos and select their favorites. Depending on their package or preferences, I offer high-resolution digital downloads, physical prints, or customized photo products. I’m available for any questions or adjustments, ensuring they are thrilled with the final results. 7. Follow-Up & Future Collaboration: I follow up with clients to ensure they are satisfied and to express my gratitude. Many of my clients become long-term customers, coming back to me to capture new milestones, and I’m always happy to be part of their continued journey. This thorough, client-centered approach ensures every customer feels heard, valued, and overjoyed with their images.

- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My photography journey began over 15 years ago, sparked by a deep passion for capturing landscapes and nature, followed by capturing life’s fleeting moments and telling stories through images. What started as a hobby, photographing family gatherings, landscapes, and candid moments with friends, quickly evolved into something more meaningful. I became fascinated by how a single photo could evoke powerful emotions, preserve memories, and create lasting connections. This realization drove me to learn everything I could about photography, from technical skills like mastering light and composition to understanding how to bring out authentic expressions in my subjects. Early on, I invested in professional training, attended industry-experienced photographer workshops, and took on a variety of projects to expand my skills. Working with different people, capturing their milestones, and hearing their stories made me realize how impactful this work could be. It inspired me to focus on portraits, families, and pets because these moments often carry the deepest connections and joy. As the years went by, my passion only grew stronger. Today, I continue to create meaningful images for my clients, driven by the same excitement and purpose that started me on this path. Being trusted to capture precious memories is a privilege, and it’s what makes every shoot rewarding.
