Maria is helpful and supportive, and she was very patient while I was learning how to sew for the first time. She creates a positive learning environment and encourages me (and others in my class) to be creative with our projects. In my classes with Maria I have learned important skills for everyday problems like hand stitching, and fixing things like zippers, holes, and buttons.
