FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Flat rates for most large items. Smaller projects and troubleshooting are on a time and material basis at $125 for a Journeyman and $180/hr for a Journeyman and an apprentice to come. For jobs that need in person estimates it is a $250 service call that will be waived if hired.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would appreciate any and all photos a customer could send me to get a clearer picture of the project. For some complex jobs, I will come out to inspect before giving an estimate. When I first see your project on Thumbtack I send out a message with a link to my invoicing and estimate software that makes sure I have your correct info on file. Once we confirm the work please send me your address over Thumbtack messaging, email, or on my mobile number as Thumbtack does not share your exact address.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to vocational high school where I studied electrical for 4 years and worked in the field as a co-op apprentice. Upon graduating in 2015 I worked in commercial electric throughout my apprenticeship learning distribution, fire alarm, and working on numerous multi-residential projects. In January of 2020, I received my Journeyman's license, then in March 2023, I got my Master's License. After achieving those I filed for my 1A electrical business license. Since then I have expanded my licenses to NH as well. I also have a hoisting engineers 2A license and I have taken courses on CPR, Fire alarm, Asbestos Operations, and Maintenance and business development courses.
