Jacob Transportation has been a wonderful to work with! I reached out on a Sunday needing some help with moving stuff from an old home to my new home and they were able to accommodate me the same day. I was overwhelmed - exhausted and felt quite defeated as moving is ALOT of work. They sent 2 movers and when they arrived they went right to work. They safely transported many items including mirrors - TVs (5 to be exact ) and many boxes of dishes etc with the utmost care. Unloading was even quicker than the loading initially. I would highly recommend them for any of your moving needs. Not only are they prompt and efficient, it was affordable too. I can’t thank them all enough. Thank you Jacob Transportation for saving the day and my sanity!

Jacob Transportation did above and beyond my expectations. They protected my things before moving them out of my previous apartment to my new one. I couldn’t be more pleased and would recommend/ use their moving services again. When moving out and my original movers were not able to accommodate the new date after my house closing date was moved up, Jacob transportation was able to accommodate a quick ( next day) turnaround. They saved me! They arrived on time with three movers with professional assistance, wrapped all my furniture and asked questions for any specific items that showed care and consideration. They were efficient, careful, and a good value, and provided great customer service. I received a text when the movers were on their way and a check in when the job was complete. At first when I was booking online. Admittedly I was skeptical that they would be arriving the next day after booking, but they did NOT disappoint. I am truly grateful for their quick response and service through the whole experience.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Everything will depend on the quantities of furniture that the client has, the more you have, the more time it will take to be able to finish his move, there are some things that would be charged additionally including piano pool table, things that are really heavy (more than 300 lb)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
They want to know if the professional is the right one. It is the doubt in your head. Normal ... we let you know that with JACOB TRANSPORTATION there are no headaches. We do not vary in our budgets and we let you know that everything is insured in the contracted service.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are a team of 6 operators, including electricians, plumbers, and furniture assemblers. We work with different operators because in a transfer sometimes there is something extra that customers want to be done. such as putting a lamp, hooking a curtain, fixing a pipe, restoring a wall, painting. WE ARE PREPARED SO THAT THE CLIENT DOES NOT LOOK ANYMORE..
