FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on square footage and the age of the home. An older home may incur a slightly higher fee due to the added complexity and time requirements to examine an older home. We always inspect garages, even if they are detached from the living space. State requirements do not require inspectors to inspect any detached structure. Large outbuildings such as barns incur an additional fee for inspection.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process is simple, we will reach out with a phone call or via email to give a price quote or to ask any additional questions. Once a quote is accepted, we will arrange a time to meet at the property to for the on-site portion of the home inspection. Once the on-site portion is completed, inspectors will review photographs and write a report detailing any observed problems or deficiencies with the building. Reports are typically sent to the client 24 hours after the inspection via email.
