- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For cruises, rail vacations and guided tours, my service costs you nothing. I will provide consult & quote for any travel inquiry and offer experienced advice for 1 hour at no charge over the phone or email. If you need a full vacation package there is a Travel Support fee based on scope and group size.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A phone review is always best to get to know you as a traveler and your personal travel style/choices. There are so many options for travel: hotel, ship, car, rail, plane, train. Each option caters to a specific personality and demographic. It is not easy to pick the right choice on the web and even if you have experience with a particular brand, I may be able to introduce you to something new and even better!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed travel agent with 4 different travel agencies/consortiums/host agency, 1 of which is my personal business - Your Partner In Travel. I have a registered business in the state of Massachusetts and confirmed ID. I belong to CLIA (Cruise Line Industry Association) as a ACC (Accredited Cruise Counselor), licensed to sell travel through Travel Leaders consortium, Travel Footloose LLC and Avoya Travel host agency for amazing deals and offers. I am also a member of ASTA, licensed to sell travel insurance with Allianz Global Assistance, AIG/Travel Guard and Chubb.
