Aaron was fantastic from start to finish. This was our 1st time redoing flooring. He helped us select the right flooring for our basement and took into consideration cost/quality. We selected some LVP options online and he came by with all the samples for us to look at in our space. He worked efficiently and was very considerate of noise levels since we both work from home. His communication was great. Job was done cleanly, timely and for an affordable price. Would definitely recommend! We love our new basement flooring.

Aaron and Kyle are great! We have now hired them for three large jobs and several smaller jobs. Aaron is a great, responsive communicator and Kyle brings the humor ;-). They are very accommodating and try to squeeze us into their schedule as soon as possible each time. They are upfront about costs and stay in constant communication throughout the job. I have found their rates to be very reasonable. They are great about cleaning up at the end of the day and the end of the job. We already have a long list of projects we will be asking them back for!

We hired Step One to redo one of my mother’s bathrooms and they did an excellent job. Aaron was incredibly communicative, they always cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day and they transformed the bathroom from a horrible 70s flashback to 2022. Would definitely recommend.
