Introduction

New to Thumbtack, but longtime landlord and homeowner (5 total units). I've done most handyman work: dishwasher installation, garbage disposals, light fixtures, ceiling fans, furniture assembly, leaky toilets, rotten window trim, interior and exterior painting, garden installation, lawn rehab, drywall repair, door fixes, electrical, plumbing, hardwood and manufactured flooring installation, garage door openers, and other stuff I'm forgetting.

Mark (of Hal's Home Solutions) was very responsive to my needs and questions. He repainted our shed and some trim by the front entrance of our home. He repaired the bottom of our garage door which was beginning to rot. He did excellent and imaginative repairs as needed to damaged and rotted wood with special attention to the cupola on the shed. He also replaced the rotted window flower boxes on the shed with PVC plastic replacements which he made. I asked him to do something to keep critters from going under the shed so he put chicken wire around the base and replaced the lattice over that. (I've attached before and after pictures of my shed.) His price was very reasonable, and the quality of his work exceeded my expectations. I recommend Hal's Home Solutions for your handyman needs.

Mark has done an excellent job, explaining the work, the pros and cons and provided me with a reasonable quote . He went above and beyond to help me as a customer understand every detail about the issues that I was trying to resolve. Mark was also upfront about the things that he cannot do; so there is less confusion at the end. I would highly recommend Mark for any handyman job. I will hire him again if required.
