M and V construction does exceptional work and is an absolute pleasure to work with! We (my condo association) originally hired them to replace our front porch, but after we saw some of their work (and their prices) we quickly added on the replacement of two back porches and a third floor deck. They were great at communicating problems (we had a lot of rotted wood that needed to be replaced completely) and had reasonable prices for all of the unforeseen work. We even had them install a bike rack! Additionally, they were able to work with the Somerville permitting depart (Somerville ISD) and get the project completed in a reasonable amount of time (apparently this is quite a feat!). They very understanding of my need to communicate everything with all of the owners of the condo building. They also fixed many things beyond the original scope of the project, just because they needed to be fixed. I cannot recommend these guys enough, I will definitely be contacting them in the not too distant future about other repairs we’re planning to have done. The quality of their work is top notch, their prices are fair, and they get things done quickly!

M and V did a great job painting my old and weathered deck. It's actuality 2 decks, railing, lattice, etc. They were experienced, had the right knowledge and tools, worked hard and efficiently, and did a great job overall. The price was great too. I also really appreciate how trespassing they were. I cannot be more happy. I would use them again. Highly recommend.

I am so glad that I chose Marcus and team for redoing my backyard deck. Marcus truly did a fantastic job right from understanding my requirements and providing honest and good suggestions. Summary: M and V construction saved my porch. They are responsive, giving possible options, explaining details so kindly and most important - so professional! I strongly recommend this company and I’ll keep working with them in the future. Last week, a bird started to peak my porch wood beams. I shared my project to three companies on Thumbtack. One sent estimate without on-site visit the other sent estimate over our budget with not that clear job explanation. However, M and V construction came to my house on the day I shared my project. He gave me several options to choose, explaining pros and cons of each option. Also he included the details of material he’ll use in this project and offered gutter cleaning to prevent further wooden rots. They came to my house today. The job took only 4 hours. Fast and clean!!!! I totally recommend this company.
