FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is not set in stone. I like to work with the artist's budget and create an agreement/compromise. I don't charge excessively and try to be fair to my clients. I'm generous with my studio time and generally only charge based on the complexity of each project, rather than by the hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always ask new clients to send me some form of a demo of their material. I also what they're looking to do with their projects and try to get to know them on an amicable level while maintaining professionalism. I feel this makes the work environment a more comfortable one while still allowing both of us to focus on the task at hand.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I don't have any sort of formal training when it comes to my skills and knowledge. I'm self taught and I'm constantly learning new things with each session/project and artist I work with. I feel experience and knowledge are very important and go hand in hand, but allowing myself to be self taught also allows me to learn at my own pace and allow for more creativity.
