I hired Rich for what I thought was a small repair job, fixing several loose tiles on the wall next to the shower. But, the problem was actually more extensive than I realized. Fortunately, Rich had the knowledge to assess the situation, then propose and explain a remedy (remove more tiles and replace the damaged wood behind them…..). He demonstrated his expertise as he performed the recommended work with meticulous attention to detail. He also skillfully completed another small repair in the bathroom, adding PVC to secure the edges of the flooring. Customer satisfaction is clearly important to Rich and I am extremely happy with the quality of the work he did for me. I would not hesitate to use his services again and would highly recommend Rich to others.

Rich solved 2 safety related problems for us in a very prompt manner. Addressing a broken basement window should not be delayed. Rich obviously understood this, hence the reason he went out of his way to schedule the work promptly. He came by and not only did he solve the problem, he exceeded our expectations. We also had an issue with our outside front porch steps and Rich fixed those as well. I appreciate his craftmanship, professionalism and promptness. Rich is very responsive and his rates are reasonable. These are all of the qualities I look for. I would definitely recommend Rich, if you're looking for a Handyman. I should also mention he followed social distancing and mask guidelines at all times.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is always flexible, and I always do my best to give a fair estimate. If I am sourcing materials and can find a way to reduce my cost I will pass that savings to the client.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will usually start with an email or text, where the job is described and more detail is gathered. We will then setup on onsite visit or remote visit if more feasible. During that visit I can gather final details and requirements for your project so that I can work out a quote.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always enjoyed performing home repairs and carpentry, woodworking cabinetry, etc. I began working casually with friends and eventually started doing work for myself.
