We are VERY happy with our newly finished basement (family room/playroom, guest room/office, and full bathroom)! We chose GBC over a referral from a friend because of how impressed we were with Wellynson’s expertise and knowledge. Wellynson was very patient while we waited for our HOA to approve the project. Once the project started, we were pleased with the GBC crew and subcontractors’ work. Alyson was extremely easy to work with and we appreciate his communication, knowledge, and assistance. If anything came up, he was right on it with a solution. GBC also stayed within the completion period they had on contract which was very appreciated. Everyone who stepped into our home was friendly and worked hard. GBC’s attention to detail is very impressive and we are excited to make memories in our new space. We are blown away by the end results & will recommend GBC’s services to family, friends and neighbors!

Wellynson finished our basement and installed a drainage system/sump pump in early 2024. We're very happy with the work and would be more than happy to work with him again. He was very responsive to any issue that came up and worked to ensure we were happy with everything. He was also very helpful during the quote process in helping me think through design decisions. Highly recommend!

Overall a very satisfying experience. About the job - Full basement finishing (about 1500 sq ft) with open floor plan having gym, bar, storage closet, entertaining area and a full bath. Quote/Pricing: Got in touch with WG Custom Carpentry Inc via Thumbtack. Heard back promptly from them and scheduled a in-person walkthrough for going over my needs and requirements. Received a quote with a quick turnaround and further fine tuned it to include few finishing options for wall, closet and bulkhead entry. Overall a very competitive quote for finishing my whole basement. Job: Work started about a month after signing the contract and took about 7-8 months from start to finish. A good 2-3 months delay was due to my custom cabinet and countertop choices and their delivery. So, will not count it against them. Staff & Work: Wellynson/Alison duo make a great team and are awesome. Their staff showed up prompt (typically early in the morning) and stayed as long as it took to finish the day’s task. They cleaned-up right behind them every day and left the area clean with debris bagged and hauled away. They were prompt in their communication, kept in touch when needed and made the whole experience a very pleasant one. I already know who I will be reaching out for my future home improvement work. Rest assured you are in safe hands with them. I would highly recommend them for any of your home improvement and/or remodeling work.

Over the summer, WG custom carpentry modified our half bath into a full bath, installed built in wardrobe in our master bedroom and re constructed a basement entrance. We are SO pleased with our full bathroom, the workmanship was even more than we expected. WG also set us up with all permits, waste control and sealed the construction area for dust control into our living space. If you’re looking for a group of great guys, who do great work while respecting your home- these are the guys you’re looking for! We have some hopes to eventually remodel our basement and when that time comes we’ll be reaching out to WGCC!
