Introduction
I am musician who is extremely passionate about teaching. I have been playing cello for over twelve years and earned a degree in music from Gettysburg College's Sunderman Conservatory. I am currently based in Brookline, Massachusetts and am open to teaching cello students of all levels and beginner piano either online or in person. I enjoy working with students to find and tackle music that speaks to them!

I couldn’t recommend Alicia enough! She is kind, professional, and makes every lesson fun! And if you are apprehensive at all with an online music teacher, zoom works very well and even has an enhanced audio feature specifically for music over stream and works great!

Alicia is a kind and effective teacher, and was a true inspiration to my daughter. She develops an individualized curriculum for each student and worked to make the cello lessons both enriching and fun.

Ms. Method was always very understanding when things came up that would have to reschedule lessons, and was very generous and one of the only genuinely nice people that I have ever met. You can tell that she is very passionate about music, and it shows through her way of teaching as well. She truly is someone that wants you to succeed, and takes the time to work with you every lesson. I looked forward every week to lessons with her, and learned something new every time, whether it be with my technique or even a new method of how to deal with difficult parts in my music. All things that I learned from her I still use today. I would 100% recommended taking classes with her, Ms. Method is the best tutor hands-down for cello that I have ever had!

Alicia has a unique gift for teaching music. She has a strong technical background and is understanding and insightful in her guidance. She's especially good with kids due to her engaging and patient personality. Would highly recommend!
