About me: I’ve been playing piano since the age of 5 and built my career as a jazz pianist, organist, educator with a strong classical background. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Performance and Professional Music from Berklee College of Music and am currently finishing up my Master's Degree in Global Jazz Performance from Berklee Global Jazz Institute. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to be mentored by renowned musicians such as John Patitucci, Danilo Perez, Joe Lovano, Terri Lyne Carrington, Adam Cruz, Pat Bianchi and has shared stage with Dave Liebman, Joey Baron, Ellis Hall, Catherine Russell, Dee Dee Bridgewater and others.
Throughout my career I performed at a number of notable international festivals, including Umbria Jazz Festival 2013 (Italy), Wave of Ideas 2015 (Bulgaria), Panama Percussion Festival (Panama), Eurasia-2010 (Russia), Beantown Jazz Festival (Boston, MA), Monterey Jazz Festival (Monterey, CA), and Costa Rica Jazz Festival (Costa Rica), and has also appeared on Kazakhstan’s “The Voice” as well as TEDx.
My personal projects present a variety of formats, including jazz piano trio, quintet, and organ trio/quartet, which have allowed me to give life to my own compositions, including both jazz and reharmonizations of folk and pop songs.
I’ve been teaching privately for the past five years and conducted masterclasses at the festivals such as Novi Sad Jazz Festival (2018) and Panama Jazz Festival (2020). I get excited seeing my students enjoy the process of playing the instrument as much as I do. I am sure that you have musical potential to be discovered - I can help you uncover it.. As each one of us learns differently, I accommodate the needs of the student by creating an individual plan, using clear, achievable goals that will help you succeed.
