My 12 year-old had previously taken guitar lessons for about a year, not learning much. In just 5 months working with Josh he has blossomed! He's excited to attend his lessons and has started to learn songs that he likes on his own because he can actually play the guitar now. Josh is an excellent teacher and really knows how to bring out the best in his students. Josh teaches his students how to practice in order to progress through the necessary fundamentals and keeps them interested along the way. He makes learning really fun for kids by bringing students together at times for group lessons. They learn how to work together, encourage one another and play different parts of a song, which makes them feel like they're in a band ;). It is obvious that Josh not only loves playing the guitar, but is passionate about teaching it to others. Worth every minute and dollar we've invested thus far!

My son has been taking lessons from "Slidell Guitar Lessons" since Jan 2017. Great teacher! My kids have learned more in the last year than with any of the other instructors they have had. Josh is organized, patient and disseminates information clearly to the kids. The boys have enjoyed their lessons. Easy to work with in scheduling lessons.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First step is to have a telephone conversation with a inquiring student (or student parent) about what goals the student would like to achieve. Based on that conversation's outcome I would then invite the student for a free introductory/assessment lesson.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of the "Elite Guitar Teachers Inner Circle" in which I continuously train in the how to best achieve massive results for each student.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started teaching guitar 5 years ago to friends and family and decided to create my business when I saw there was a huge need for quality guitar teachers in my area.
