My name is Joe Phillips. I started training dogs for the military in 1999. I’ve since been an overseas contractor, business owner and now continue to train dogs for a government agency. My fees are 200-300 per session. Each session is 1 hour, one on one.

Candy had two trainers before meeting Phillips. Both of them were good but Phillips is on another level. He fixed my dog’s stubborn pulling her leash in only 1 SESSION!! Yes that is what it took! And I am writing this review 2 months after his training and still long lasting results with my dog. HE IS THE BEST! Thank you so much again :)

He was very communicative and upfront with me. He arrived early and kept me updated on when he was on the way. Phillips took charge and let me know not to be scared do to my dogs being aggressive. While it wasn’t the news I wanted to hear with keeping both dogs he didn’t give me false hope. And while he wasn’t able to do much he did give me some tips and tricks in making sure my dog wasn’t jumping on people and to stop him from being good aggressive

My dog Jadis is a rescue and has some bad habits like leash pulling and barking. Phillips did a great job helping me to understand my dog and implement changes. I will say… don’t be like me and expect immediate change overnight … you will have to work with your pup and invest time in their progress to see results. Looking forward to our next session.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet in person and observe both the dog and the owner in the environment where the issues or training needs attention. After initial observations I will develop a training plan for both and set goals to meet the need.
