- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If a student requests more than one lesson per week, we consider discounts.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I never advertise myself as a student's academic superior or 2-dimensional lecturer. I want working with me to be relieving and collaborative, not intimidating. I pride myself on personalizing each and every lesson, which is why I will request class materials in advance. I also am proud to say that my academic relationships with students often continue throughout their high-school or college years.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a 3.9 UCLA pre-med grad (for my post-baccalaureate degree) and a Brighter Futures Scholar from New College for my initial degree in English. I am a 98th percentile scorer on both the SAT and the MCAT. I have tutored for the Florida public school system, City Test Prep, as well as Kumon.
