FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I’m fare and up front about the costs. I will always try to repurpose and reuse items the client already owns.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do a free 30 minute consultation at the clients home if schedules allow. This gives the client and myself an opportunity to get to know one another. I find out exactly what they want to achieve and discuss realistic goals with them. I can work alone if the client has a busy schedule, or they can work with me side by side. After that, we schedule a date and time and I get to work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied costume design at Otis Parsons in Los Angeles. I've been styling photo shoots, commercials, and costume designing for film and TV for 20+ years. I owned and operated Mariposa Vintage Clothing store on Magazine St. in New Orleans from 1995-2001. I had a huge clientele with my store. Honestly, I could hardly contain myself when a new customer walked in the store and asked for my help, it made my day.
