Chasse` was amazing from start to finish! Chasse` was my now husband's hair stylist for our wedding day and she was exceptional and she knows her craft. She even trim my hubby's hair because she could tell a hairdresser butchered it on trial day lol. She is responsive, punctual, and the quality of her work just shines through. I even told her I wish I knew her before I signed my contract with my MUA. She even went to the extent of bringing her make up gear just in case my MUA falls through on the day of and I thought that is just nice of her to do. I all I can say is, do not think, do it, book Chasse'!

Let me start off by saying the make up job was pretty good. My make up looked very natural which is the look I like. The appt was 430pm but she didn’t arrive until 5 r few mins after. I already told her I needed to be out the door by 6. We started communicating around 407 pm, I had to send address for which I had forgotten. We text for about 45 min r so. Somewhere in bt this time she tells me she’s running late, it’s about 425 r so at this point. So finally she arrives around 5-507pm. She tells me she had to use an Uber bc her truck gave her problems, but now you get a late start and make me late. I had asked earlier in the day if she could do something with my hair, she said yes so she used my flat iron to put 4 curls in it and this costs me extra, it turned out to be something I can do myself..now that’s my fault for not asking how much that would be. I did not get out the door until 645 which had me late for my function. I felt gypped bc first you’re 30 min late and you messed my schedule up. Now if it were me I would have said to my paying customer for whom word of mouth gets me business well I normally charge such and such but I’ll curl your hair no charge bc after all I was late, like you don’t accommodate the paying customer for something that was clearly your fault. My hair didn’t look no better than if I had done it myself but I didn’t have time to go thru the hoopla I was already late for my function. What I will say is if you encounter a problem that is not your customers fault you should be willing to offer some type of compensation for your wrong doing. One more thing she mentioned she had to catch an Uber and it costs her 50 bucks, I felt like I was being made to pay that plus the 20 travel fee. Felt like she needed to make the money back that she paid for the Uber. I really felt played bc this had cost me in the 200’s.

I apologize for being late due to my previous client arriving late. Yes, I did had car trouble and decided to call an uber instead of canceling the appointment. Didn't want to disappoint you by not showing up at all. I finished your makeup in about 30 minutes, which left you enough time to do your hair or get dressed. You chose to do hair instead of saying, I can do my own hair. So you had the choice and you made the choice you wanted. I definitely put more than 4 curls in your hair. I curled your hair and your extensions with the flat iron you already had sitting out on the island when I arrived, when you originally asked me to put it up in a bun. We finished exactly at 6 and you went to get dressed. Your strap broke on your dress and I stayed to help with your dress. I even adjusted the strap for you to help you. You were late because your dressed malfunction not because I didn't finish in time. You assumed that I was going to do your hair for free and I only charged you half the price. I informed you that I was only going to charge you half price, but I guess that wasn't good enough. I wasn't trying to make money back for the uber at all because I only charged you a $20 travel fee and half price for hair. My uber both ways totalled $53. If I wanted to make travel fee money back, I would've charge you the $53. I gave you discounts that you wanted for free. I don't work free.

Coming to visit family again after 10 years of not being down here. I thought after a long morning of traveling it’d be nice to relax and get hair/makeup done. As soon as I sent the request she called and we set it up, a first for my using thumbtack. Couldn’t have picked a better person and my makeup looked amazing. The next day my makeup still looked great! I kept my lashes on and they were perfect for 5 days after too! My hair stayed curly that night even despite the nonstop rain & humidity. We just went to dinner but I was so happy to get a little family photo outside I’d usually decline cuz no makeup lol. This review is long overdo but luckily it was only after our vacation l came down with a cold, stomach bug and a horrible cough lol. Anyway whenever we one day go back to the area I know for sure who I’d call :) my family also couldn’t stop raving. Plus they loved meeting her. It was nice to be glammed up and look good since I rarely do these days lol.
