FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is fair. As someone who just completed my personal remodel I was getting frustrated at the pricing increases. With many of the natural disasters and Covid setbacks it is reasonable to expect increases in pricing but the majority of people who just do not have the choice to pay top dollar are being underserved. I want people to remember me for being fair, reliable, and honest so that when the market cools off, I am the one they will call.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would always prefer to meet in person and see the project. Once we get the scope of work I usually start working on the bid immediately. That can take anywhere from 24 hours to a week depending on if we need subs to get pricing to me but the sooner the better for all. Once we agree to the pricing, we schedule and go.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent 9 years building multifamily projects, new homes, and historic renovations before I moved to New Orleans in 2010. The move was just after the housing bust and so I stayed out of building until I purchased and new home in 2021 and did a complete gut and remodel. I forgot how much I missed the business and when my mail carrier couldn't find anyone to help him on a remodel of his double, I took the leap and got my license and got back into the game. The rest is history!
