Introduction

I'm an international photographer that specializes in journalistic style photography. I started off in commercial photography working with some of cities top chefs. My work has been published in several local magazines. Wedding photography is my full-time career, and I've learned in my 10 years of shooting that every wedding is unique. I'm properly equipped for night time weddings, low-light venues, out-door events, and willing to travel if need be.

I know photography; I do it as a serious amateur creative photographer. Photography has two dimensions; technique and art. Photographic technique involves framing, lighting, depth of field, composition, exposure value, ISO, rule of thirds, time of day, and a thousand other things. When I look at Alicia's photographs I see in my mind how she is using all of them to achieve the desired effect. Putting all of this together takes a lot of work. But more importantly, she is an artist. She has in her brain what some call "photographer's goggles." She puts her brain into a zone where she visualizes a shot in her brain and makes it happen. Taking a picture is what anybody can do with their cell phone. "SAY CHEESE!!!!" Ugh!! Alicia uses all of these techniques and many more to not take a picture but to make a photograph. And then she spends hours on her computer editing them and making adjustments before presenting them to her clients. She is an artist and a perfectionist. Making photographs of children or animals is the most difficult task that a photographer can take on. Alicia excels. When you go to a restaurant and look at the menu, there are photographs of offered items made to look appetizing so you'll buy them. It is very difficult to do this. Lighting, temperature (ice cream) etc. Alicia excels. She does wonderful work in city photography. She has the eye. She excels. But her best work is in event photography. Like weddings, Bar Mitzvas, Christenings, anniversary parties, retirement parties, etc. Her fees are very reasonable for the work that she does. She knows how to photograph and memorialize your good memories for the future. You should hire her. I did. She photographed, or in photographers' lingo "shot" my wedding. We have used Alicia (Royal Imagery) twice once for my daughters wedding and once for my youngest daughters senior picture. Her creativity was awesome. Alicia went above and beyond to give my daughters the pictures they wanted. I can't wait for her to do my grandsons Christening and Family pictures. Royal Imagery has great pricing, very professional and more then anything the creativity to make your vision come to life

Alicia is an astonishingly talented photographer, more than that, she is truly an artist. I have had nothing but wonderful compliments on our maternity pictures. Her work is flawless! The moments she captured of us were truly magical - straight from a magazine! Memories that will last a lifetime! We are so beyond pleased with our pictures. They are absolutely beautiful. She has a stellar eye and is far superior to all the rest. She is great to work with all around, lots of attention to detail, very creative and the results are stunning pieces of art. My suggestion is hire her (in advance because she books up quickly!)

Alicia is not only an amazing photographer but she's the most dependable and trustworthy person I've ever hired. For the most important day in my life, she was there and recorded on print my happiness for eternity. What I envisioned, what I hoped would be photographed, she saw behind her lense. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to work with everyone's budget. We are each in a different place in our lives, so not every package will meet everyone's needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I make myself more approachable, and address my clients by their first name. It adds a sense of warmth & sincerity to our relationship. It's important to explain everything in the raw, so nothing is hidden.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
College educated, training under 2 of the most prominent photographers in the city. I also come from a family of photographers.
