- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are customary and reasonable. The fee will be agreed upon before I travel to meet my customer, and all payments are made with Cash, Venmo, PayPal, or Cashapp. Regarding vehicle sales, I am not a license plate agent. I will prepare all the necessary documentation in order to take such paperwork to DMV to obtain plate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once I receive a Thumbtack request from a customer, I give a quote within 10 minutes if I am available to perform the job within the requested timeframe. Since I do not work a full time job, I am generally available and have a personal desire to help others take care of their business at hand. My customer and I agree upon a location and time to perform the notary transaction. I can give my cell phone number at that time, if necessary.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Having worked in a car dealership for 12 years and a law firm for 15 years, I have prepared documents for vehicle and boat transfers (Bill of Sale/Act of Donation). I maintain these legal forms in my vehicle at all times, as well as my Notary seal. I realize that time is critical and very important when searching for a Notary, so I am a Mobile Notary ready and able to assist. I took the LSU Notary Prep Course in 1988 and passed the Notary exam immediately afterward. I have prepared other various types of legal documents, such as Wills, Powers of Attorney, Custody Mandates, Real Estate Closing Documents, Affidavits. I do not prepare Divorce Proceedings, and I am not a Wedding Officiant.
