My name is Marty Goldsmith, Kentucky Licensed Home Inspector # 266196. More than 1,800 inspections completed. I have an advanced license in Home Inspection # 21060317 from a what is called InterNACHI (Like a CPA for accounting). I am certified under FHA, license A1239. My experience comes from flipping homes and being a professional estimator for a large company. I also have eight times the insurance policy that the state requires. I have inspected thousands of homes, small and large. We have great software, drones, remote control equipment for crawlspaces, and deliver a top quality product, at a fair price. Marty inspected a home I am trying to purchase this morning. This is my first home, he spent a half hour or so going over what the life range and cost of the air, heat and roof are. I have rented my entire adult life and did not know the cost and repair cost of these. He also explained that the filter in the furnace needs to be changed every month and suggested I do this on the day the electric bill comes.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are middle of the road. The state of Kentucky requires Home Inspectors to have a $ 250,000 insurance policy. I do investment properties and have a 2 million dollar policy.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We book most deals over the phone and require local buyers to attend the inspection.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
FHA A-1239, Certified Professional Inspector 21060317 I have inspected thousands of homes, some under $100,000 and some over 2million dollars. I have taken hundreds of hours of continue education and advanced training. Most important, I have owned over 100 homes myself.
