We were incredibly impressed with the work done by Footprints Floors at our home in Louisville. After having the carpet removed, we discovered some highly unusual "remodeling" work done in haste from the home's past, damaged wood, but what seemed to be a potentially salvageable hardwood situation.Footprints was quick to respond, and thorough in their assessment of what needed to be done. We were thankful to learn that our red oak floor, mostly in reasonable condition, could be saved.We felt the price was reasonable, and appreciated the quality and frequency of communication from Brian and the team.The work itself was extraordinarily good, blending in new wood with old virtually seamlessly to the degree that it's hard to believe the wood ever looked differently. The final finish and quality is excellent.At the end of the job, a minor detail (not a mistake on Footprints' part really, but a miscommunication about the door threshold) was evaluated quickly and corrected.

Fair price for fair work. I hired floorprints to take out carpet and replace it with a wood laminate floor that we purchased. It was one bedroom and a basement foyer, less than 250 sqft of space. I was told this would take one day, it took 2 plus 1.5 hours of a third. This would he a serious issue if i was not off for the summer (I am a teacher). I was not given a call to explain the delays or apology for the inconvenience from management or lead. The install guys were polite but one was on his phone a lot and seemed to contribute to the length of the job. As for quality of work- it was good there were a couple issues noted after the second day and they were fixed by the time the job was finally complete. Payment was easy. I would recommend but maybe ask for a thorough quote before starting. An improvement in quote time and professionalism would make it a 5/5.

Ben and Brian were great to work with. The installers did an amazing job in a short amount of time. They refinished my original hardwood floors from 1961 which had been covered by carpet for several decades, and the floors look even better than I had imagined. I am so happy with them, and plan to use Footprints again when it comes time for the hallway and bedrooms!

We like to meet the customer at their property to measure and discuss the best flooring choices. We will send an estimate to the customer quickly and competitively.

Install, sand and finish new hardwood and all existing hardwood. Stain new floors and old floors to match. Install new or refinish treads and risers on stairs. Help select and install new tile or vinyl floors. Natural stone and tile installation. Move furniture, appliances and plumbing. Remove/dispose of the existing floor.
