FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally as an attorney I only charge for draft motions and court appearances with a far lower hourly rate for lengthy administrative work. Basic updates and communications with clients are not charged for the first 20 minutes each week.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It is necessary for all prospective clients to undergo an initial consultation, after which we will conclude an engagement agreement. I also must undertake a conflicts check, which requires some basic information, to assure that I am not already representing someone with an adverse interest.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a law degree from UofL Brandeis School of Law. I am a member of the prestigious Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum from my time at a large law firm in Beijing where I won an international commercial arbitration award exceeding $3 million. I have practiced law for over ten years.
