FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is not complicated. Some lawn care guys use a formula like this: sq feet x $.5 + # of trees x $1 x linear feet of mulch beds x$.25 = total cost x 2 -OR- $60/hour, but they can't tell you upfront exactly how long it will take. Mine is much simpler. I use my years of experience to provide you with an upfront flat rate price, and I stick to it.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
While we strive to make the experience as easy for the customer as possible, nothing beats getting face to face with the customer at the job site. This allows us to have a firm grasp on the scope of the project, the customers expectations, and their budget. This allows us to provide a much more accurate estimate and avoids any confusion down the road.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of a large, multi-national organization of lawn care professionals that aid each other and provide education. I am currently enrolled in their Lawn Care Business College to gain more knowledge and understanding of the lawn care world.
