I contacted American Beauty Woodworking for a project I was doing. Before contacting American Beauty Woodworking Nothing was going right at the time. Materials were being wasted, the guys wouldn't show up when they said they would, and my vision for my project seemed like it was going backwards. What should have taken me two weeks to complete my project had done passed. At this point it was 2 months and no where near being completed. Ugghhh!!!! A customer of mine had given me American Beauty Woodworking business card. I was hesitant about calling. When I finally gave in and called Mr. Charney was not available for a few days. I thought, " great another one of these, I'll never get this done." But to my surprise Mr. Charney DID show up when he was available, did a look over and gave me my estimate on what he'd charge for my project the very next day. Arrangements were made for when he could start. In my estimate he also included a 'project complete by' date. I wasn't holding my breath on that considering at what point I was already at and timeframe had long been passed up. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AMERICAN BEAUTY WOODWORKING!! Mr. Charney came into a mess of a project and in no time flat had it FINISHED and saved me some money too!!

my prices may be higher than some; but in this industry you definitely get what you pay for.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
after contact has been made: establish a good time to meet, meet and discuss project overview and make suggestions, prepare an estimate, if estimate is excepted I then scheduled a date to start collect any required materials deposit then show up on the date and time we set.(I do show up when I say I will)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked as a carpenter for 27 years. As a carpenter you have your hands in a little bit of everything the construction industry can throw at you. That being said most of my training I equate to experience. I do however carry a OSHA 30 certification and I require all employees to have a minimum of OSHA 10 certification.
