You won't get an ordinary massage or pain rehabilitation session with me! I strive to treat each client as unique as they are. I go above and beyond to create a plan to help each client achieve their goals, whether the goal is pain relief, strengthening, toning, or relaxation.
I am a dedicated and passionate licensed massage therapist, neuromuscular trainer, and nurse. Through the variety of services I offer at my health center, Vim & Vigor, I am right by my client's side, encouraging, educating, and delivering dynamic care.

Being 62, celiac, osteoporotic, in the weight room three times a week, and often caring for and lifting four grandchildren under the age of 5, I am constantly in need of muscle pain therapy in one form or another. Melanie is a Neufit provider, so she can either strengthen my muscles or relieve pain using this wonderful machine. After taking the kids to the zoo, I had the worst back muscle spasm ever and my knees felt “full” and wouldn’t bend all the way. Melanie used her fascia blaster and gave me the best massage I ever had. She is so strong! I feel wonderful today. Her advice concerning proper nutrition and supplements is spot on. Her holistic approach is very much appreciated.

I have multiple sclerosis, chronic migraines and very limited motion and strength in my arms and legs. For those who do not know much about M. S. It causes severe pain when walking, weakens muscles and hurts the spasticity in your legs causing devastating pain. Melanie sat down with me to go over different options to help me after a visit I had with her for just a massage which was so amazing I reached out to her in email to tell her how much it helped me. Through her use of the neufit machine, stretching techniques and massages that focus on the parts of my body that the M. S. Seem to attack the most, my pain levels have decreased so much (and I come out of remission much less) not to mention I have more range of motion in my arms and shoulders now then I did after weeks of physical therapy following surgery. I used to take so much pain medication I felt I was missing out on life. Now a one month supply of pain meds and muscle relaxers will last me for 2 1/2 months at least. I can't wait to see the results that she will continue to do for me. Thank you for changing my life so much. I can never repay you.

I received a massage and rehabilitation therapy at Vim & Vigor and cannot say enough positive things about my experience! I'd been having back pain from a sports injury and it was a very annoying pain. Melanie was AWESOME. She gave me a massage that was absolutely amazing! I had no idea how tight some of my muscles were. I returned later and received rehabilitation therapy for the back pain and she also helped improve my muscle symmetry. I had decreased pain after each session and cannot believe how much better I felt after! I will DEFINITELY be scheduling another massage.
