FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I you are needing door repair there is a 149.00 charge to come to your location which includes up to two hours labor. Most repair jobs can be completed within two hours. Installation pricing is based on which type of door (interior/exterior) and what style of door (single slab unit, door with sidelights, patio door, etc) you are wanting replaced/installed. Our pricing is almost always less than the big home centers' charge. If you find a cheaper quote from another professional installation service, bring us a copy and we will beat it by 10%. Most of the time I can give you a quote over the phone by the information you provide me or by you sending me a photo of the door and surrounding area. In some instances I will have to come to your location to actually see the area to give you an accurate quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to find out exactly what the customer is wanting done . Find out the time frame in which they want the service completed and make sure they are totally aware of the time it will take, if there are any other costs associated with their selected service, and that they feel totally comfortable with me. I am using the suggested covid-19 methods. Remember that not only am I insured but I am bonded as well so you can feel totally comfortable allowing me to visit you home. Most of all, my job will not be finished until you are completely satisfied with the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My first job working with doors was in 1991 and since that time I have worked with three companies in their door and door installation departments. One of which I was part owner from 1999 to 2006. I have worked with every type of interior and exterior door imaginable, not only installing but actually designing and then creating the door unit itself. All together I have around 18 years working directly with doors and door installations.
