When it came time for us to have the exterior of our house painted, we immediately thought of Austin. Austin came highly recommend to us from a family friend who had his house painted by Denver paint and exteriors. Austin and his team did not disappoint, they walked us through each step and made what seemed daunting easier. The team was professional and friendly. We are denver paint and exterior fans for life. Thank you for making our house beautiful again.

Sunflower Lawn and Landscape did a phenomenal job on my patio. They were quick with responses, very professional, respectful of my property, up front and honest. Everything you can ask out of company. I would refer them a million times.

I can honestly say I have never had a worse experience with any service professional. Completely unreliable, rude, lack of communication, lack of understanding of what the job actually entails, and disregard for cleanliness on the job. Let me explain: I needed my garage walls smoothed and painted. Austin came by and gave me an estimate, and we agreed he would start the work by the end of the week. However, his wife had a baby, so the work was delayed. No problem! I congratulated him, and he said he'll be there Monday to do the work. Monday he said he'd be at my house at 3pm or at 6am Tuesday morning. He didn't show up at 3pm and did not show up at 6am the next day. But he finally said he'll be there at 2:30pm. 2:30pm came and went. At 5pm these boys show up, sub-contractors, who are ready to start the work. I asked whether Austin was coming to supervise the work. They said they've never even met him before. But I thought I'd give them a chance. They taped and mudded the walls. They did an awful job: there was excessive amounts of plaster on the walls and all over the floor. Big blobs that they walked all over. Austin said he'd be there himself to paint the next day, right after they sand the walls down. The boys showed up in the morning. Because of the excess of mud on the walls, they could not sand because the walls were not dry. So they started painting... having done no prep work, with no drop cloths on the floor, without even taking out nails out of the walls (they painted around the nails!!!). They said Austin was not showing up. When I walked in, there was paint everywhere!! Huge drips on the floor, on stuff that was in the garage. Paint dripping on the walls! I was horrified. I texted Austin that he will need to fix all of this. His reply, "These are my guys that do all my dry wall and painting.... I'm running a business all alone. I can't be everywhere at once. I don't have [sic] business partners or anything." I apologized to the guys, told them it was not the agreement I had with Austin, and asked them to stop the work. I texted Austin. In his rude replies he insinuated that the guys were his "employees," that this is how the job is done, and that it's perfectly normal that it's this messy and that they would have cleaned it all up. He finished off by saying, "Your garage would have been painted and cleaned up by now," which clearly was not the case since the mud on the walls hasn't even dried! Complete disaster! I was in tears trying to clean up the mess they made. I lost a week's time, money for materials, $120 that I paid for the terrible partial work, and spent an hour cleaning up the mess they made. PS. My father is a professional painter. I've seen him work. I've done work with him. I can assure you, this is not normally how professionals work.

Details: Home • 1 room • Walls • 10 - 14 feet • Repainting - same color • Excellent - clean and smooth • No, this is not new construction • No, I will move things out of the way myself

We’re sorry to hear this. As you stated we handed this project to someone else due to us not being able to come out on the specific day you had in mind. We have no record of a sign contact with you in our file. This work was NOT done by Denver Paint and Exteriors but if you’d like we could come out and get things taken care of for you! Thanks.
