If you read only one review on this company read this one!They texted me today for a review of my experience BIG MISTAKE!I moved a month again and this company was supposed to move me and my family. On moving day they called me 30 minutes before they were to arrive and cancelled, stating that they had workers call in! 1. Not my problem2. They made ZERO effort to correct the situation!They left me, my wife and my 2 year old son high and dry. We had to go to rent a U-Haul and start moving ourselves! No easy task when you are not planning for it, and especially with a 2 year old!However, we did call Two Men & A Truck and they came through for us when this company wouldnt, actually when this company refused to!Important for all consumers to realize, there is no binding contract with moving companies. The consumer is powerless. No money changes hands before the move, no contract is signed. The consumer only has the power to trust that a company will say what they do, and most importantly, will DO what they say!Moving ProZ understands this and preys on it. Save the tragedy... book with a bigger company that has integrity, ethic, and gumption to take care of their customers.WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

Having just leveraged MovingProz to move me from an apartment to a home, I'm fairly frustrated. The first time I used the company, the crew involved did a great job and it's why I used them a second time. And again, I liked the crew for the second move - they worked hard, were friendly and careful. My complaint and reason for the 1 star review ties to the owner. During the bidding process, I submitted a list of items that included a baby grand piano. When it came time to move, the team didn't have the equipment (piano board) so they made do with a board from a piece of my furniture - which worked to get the piano to the garage of the home. They were supposed to then move this to our second floor. This did not happen. When I contacted the owner (Derek), his response was to state they didn't want the liability of doing something they had never done before and referenced his terms of service stating I should have been charged extra for the move. Unfortunately, his TOS does not include this and only references he needs to be made aware of the "specialty" item - which he acknowledges I did. When asked what I should do to finish the move for my piano I was told to find another mover or that one of the people from the crew might come do it independently and wasn't sure if they would charge me or not. So - my 1 star rating comes down to the owner of the company not delivering what was contracted for, blaming me for the situation by referencing a nonexistent component of the Terms of Service, and avoiding making things right because he doesn't want to take on the liability of moving a piano up a flight of steps (even though his folks had no issue taking apart the piano and then leaving it in my garage overnight and not calling me as committed). In addition, Derek didn't contact me - I had to contact him to get this information.

Moving Proz changed my life. Ive utilized them personally as well as professionally. They have the best prices Ive seen in NE Kansas. They have bent over backwards helping my clients with their moves from point A-to-B. Before i got into Real Estate i had no idea how important utilizing a moving company was. All i did for my personal move was box up my things. They did the rest. They even broke down my bed and then reset it up at my new house. Although they can be full service and box up a property from the get go- they can also just move things from one place to another or move across the USA. Theres so much going on during the moving process that having a company do all the heavy moving is worth the money ten fold, every penny. I will never not use Moving Proz. They are professional, affordable, accountable and reliable. I could go on and on.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge based on the amount of time your move takes. We start with an estimate based on the information we have about your move. This estimate will include a minimum and an hourly rate per mover, but we only bill in 15 minute increments because who wants to pay for something they don’t use? Not us! We don’t charge fuel or mileages surcharges, stair fees, walking fees, or any other hidden add-ons. There is a fee for additional stops but only if you don’t tell us ahead of time. Let us know before your move and avoid the fee!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We’ll chat with you about your inventory. If your place is 3 bedrooms or larger, we’ll either set up an in-home estimate or request that you send photos or videos of your home. We’ve been doing this for a while, so we are pretty good at estimating.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are also an SBA certified (minority) woman-owned and operated member of the AMSA with an A+ BBB rating
