Lisa was absolutely amazing! She and her assistant did makeup for me and my 4 bridesmaids for my wedding. I wear very little makeup on a daily basis (just mascara), so I was very nervous about my wedding makeup being too much and making me not look like myself. She was very easy to work with and struck the perfect balance between doing what I asked for while still giving expert advice and pushing me slightly beyond my comfort zone, knowing that it would turn out perfect for wedding and camera and exactly as I wanted. My husband said that I looked exactly like myself, just with “something causing extra glow and radiance.” Plus, every time I said something about her “magic,” Lisa was quick to affirm that it was my beauty and all she was doing was accentuating it. I was also nervous about feeling “cakey” and like I had a bunch of heavy stuff on my face all day, but quite the opposite happened! Lisa’s products all felt very light and I didn’t notice that I had product on all day. To top it all off, everything lasted and stayed perfect all day even with outdoor pictures and a pretty crazy dance floor all night. I highly recommend Lisa for any bride, but especially brides that aren’t used to a lot of makeup or are nervous about not looking like themselves on their big day. Lisa will take care of you, listen to you, accentuate your beauty, and remind you that it’s your beauty that’s shining, not just makeup.

Bridal Artistry was a dream to work with during the trial and on my wedding day! I truly could not have asked for better makeup artist. They exceeded all expectations and were able to do exactly what my bridesmaids and I had requested. I felt so beautiful and confident as every bride should feel on their wedding day. My bridesmaids and I have not stopped talking about how much we loved them and how natural we looked! Also, due to COVID, we had to reschedule our wedding and my original make up artist couldn't make the new date. I reached out to Bridal Artistry three weeks before my new date and received a quick reply back. They reassured me that it was no problem at all and continued to support me from my trial to my wedding day. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Below are the individual services we offer with rates as well as package information. Make-up $75 False Lashes $15 90 minute makeup lessons (includes a foundation, matched to your skin) $125 Special Event & Wedding Makeup Packages start at $175 and include: -trial makeup consultation -false lash application -reduced rate of $65 for each additional person needing makeup services (lashes not included) -complimentary full sized lipstick for everyone getting makeup services the day of the event
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We recommend trial consultations. Its an opportunity to see the bridal look (hairstyle and makeup) come together before your big day! We want to collaborate with you to custom design the look you have dreamed of while working within your comfort zone. We know that when you feel beautiful AND are comfortable with the wedding day look, you will definitely be a happy bride!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
For nearly 20 years our talented team of makeup artists & hairstylists have done work in the wedding & special events industry both here in Kansas City as well as the greater Washington DC area.
