YAMA is truly a place where young artists can discover both music and themselves. At the same time of receiving highly professional guidance on piano learning, students also receive theory and aural training which provides more solid ground for future musicianship development. YAMA teaches students to appreciate music on a level unrivaled by many other music academies.

The professional instructors at the Young Artists Music Academy will give your child and young adult the best instruction in piano, theory and music. They not only teach piano, but excel in teaching technique, dynamics and push the students to accomplish truly great things. Learning classical piano music from the Young Artists Music Academy was the best thing I could have done for myself; I received an in-depth, all-encompassing musical education from dedicated teachers with an infectious passion for this art form. Ms. Tatiana spent countless hours to help me not only elicit the meaning and emotion in each note but also connect with the piece as a whole and to the audience. She guided me to find my own, natural sound because of which I am now able to pursue a dual degree with music. True music should fill the heart and feed the soul. No teacher could have better shown me that than those at the Young Artists Music Academy.

Young Artist Music Academy is probably the best and the most professional piano training place in Kansas! The teachers are very professional and top of the line! My son (age 12) started piano as a beginner with YAMA a year and five months ago, and he is already playing Chopin Etudes, Liszt, and Kabalevsky concerto. It is absolutely amazing! Absolutely the best!

We offer “packages” of different classes and lessons for the discounted price to encourage parents to give more learning opportunities to their children.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, first we meet with the new students for the interview/audition. We talk about their goals and dreams, and suggest the appropriate program for each individual student
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All our teachers have master’s and doctorate degrees, they are Concert pianists with many years of experience in performing and teaching any level of students.
