- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As a professional home organizing and moving preparation business, we want to ensure complete transparency and clear understanding about our services and pricing structure. Here's what you should know: Free Initial Consultation We offer a complimentary 30 minute initial consultation to discuss your organizing and/or moving requirements and provide you with an accurate estimate. This way, you can make an informed decision based on the services we recommend. *There is a 4 hour minimum to book services. *Discounts are already reflected in online hourly rates. *Deposit Required **Cancellations within 48 hours of booking will automatically be billed a cancellation fee which equals 4 hours at hired hourly rate. Cancellations within 24 hours of booking will automatically be billed for a cancellation fee which equals 6 hours at hired hourly rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our Typical Process for Working with a New Customer: Initial Consultation: We begin by scheduling a free initial consultation with the customer. During this meeting, we engage in a thorough discussion about their home or office organizing needs, moving requirements and aspirations for a well-organized space. We pay close attention to their needs, including decluttering and organizing preferences. Project Management and Planning: Upon understanding the customer's unique requirements, we take on the role of project management. We develop a comprehensive plan that includes the spaces to be organized, materials needed, timelines, schedules. We also specialize in moving preparations such as, packing, unpacking, decluttering, cleaning and organizing aspects of their relocation journey. Customized Quote: Based on the information gathered during the consultation, we provide a detailed and itemized quote. This quote is tailored to the customer's specific needs and covers all the services, including estimates on cost of materials, hours needed to complete the project, project management, packing, unpacking, decluttering, and organizing. Transparency ensures that the customer has a clear understanding of the entire process and its associated costs. We maintain open communication throughout, addressing any questions or concerns the customer may have. Service Confirmation: With the quote approved, we proceed to finalize the service agreement. The agreement encompasses all the services included in the plan, detailing the timelines and payment terms for the project. Project Initiation: Once the service agreement is in place, we initiate the project management process. We coordinate all the organizing and/or moving preparation tasks, including packing, organizing, and decluttering activities. Upon request, our team utilizes smart storage solutions with QR coded labels to streamline the inventory management process. Decluttering and Organizing: As part of the project management process, we implement decluttering strategies to help the customer sort, organize, and prioritize their belongings. We work collaboratively to decide which items to keep, donate, or discard, ensuring a clutter-free and organized living space. Feedback and Follow-up: Customer satisfaction is of utmost importance to us. Shortly after the move, we seek feedback from the customer to understand their experience fully. Any valuable feedback is used to improve our services for future customers. Throughout the process, our professional organizing service will ensure a well-structured and organized journey that is stress-free and efficient as possible, providing a positive and enjoyable experience for our valued customers.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background in organizing stems from my experience selling and staging real estate, transforming properties into AirBnB's, organizing private estates on Nantucket and in Malibu, Vail, Beaver Creek and now Kansas City. I have always organized my home along with my family and friends as a hobby but I love that I now do it for a living! My natural attention to detail, ability to think outside of the box, and problem solving skills make this a fun and enjoyable career!
