- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard starting fee is $495 for a typical single family residential dwelling. For rural and acreage properties, there is an additional fee of $90. Any additional requests will be discussed and agreed upon prior to inspection.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will first need their address/any properties they are wanting appraised, as well as the purpose for the appraisal. I will ask any timeline they need and give them a fee quote. Once we have agreed upon the fee, timeframe, and goals, I will schedule a date to complete the inspection.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Finance from Kansas State University as well as a minor in Leadership Studies. To become a licensed appraiser, I completed all required curriculum as well as mentored with a certified appraiser before submitting my training to the state board and completing the 4 hour appraisal exam.
