FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer free estimates. Our estimate will include the cost of materials, and labor. For the labor costs, we do not charge by hour of work, it is a flat fee. For larger projects we do require half of the total job cost up front. This enables us to get the materials needed for that job. We will create a contract for those larger jobs to keep ourselves and our customers accountable. If a job doesn't require materials, and only requires labor, then we will be able to give you that cost when we meet to discuss the job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is generally the same whether we are working with a new customer or repeat customer. When you contact us we will work to set up a time to come and look at what you are wanting to get done. This generally takes 30 minutes or maybe a bit more depending of the scope of the job. During this time we will go over with you what you are wanting to get done, options, and recommendations. We will take measurements if needed. We will then take this information and create an estimate and bid for what you are wanting done. We generally try to have this to you within a few days after our meeting. During our busy times it may take up to a week. If a job doesn't require materials, and only requires labor, then we will be able to give you that cost when we meet to discuss the job. Once we finish the estimate we will send it to you. If there are any changes that need to be made those will be discussed and the estimate changed if needed. Once we have your okay, then we will set up a time to do the work. Once the work has been completed, then an invoice will be sent to you for payment. Throughout this entire process we will be in contact with you to ensure your satisfaction with the work.
