My family will be forever grateful for the time that we have worked with The Accomplished K9. We have benefitted from almost every service they provide: in home training, board and train, and boarding services. When we adopted our Pitt Bull rescue, she was anxious and reactive. The Accomplished K9 worked with her, my husband, and our children in our home for general training, and then for her anxiety and reactivity, they worked with her during their board and train program. When she returned, our girl was calm and capable of going wherever we wanted to take her, including festivals and pet friendly stores! They worked with my mother’s deaf Great Dane so that he could be cared for by an elderly couple and understand signed commands. They worked with my mother in law’s labradoodle for anxiety and leash walking. They are absolute magicians, especially for pups with behavioral needs. We have also used The Accomplished K9 for boarding, from three days to ten. Every time we travel, we do so knowing that our dogs are with people who love them and understand their individual needs. Throughout our lives working with various trainers and boarding facilities, we have never been happier than with the service and training we have received from The Accomplished K9!!! 10/10 highly recommend!!!

Where do I even begin…Brittany, Shelby and Kaitlyn have been the biggest blessing for our rescue dog, Butter. Prior to starting with The Accomplished Canine, we had worked with another Indianapolis trainer for over 6 months and had made no progress. We adopted Butter when he just turned 1 year old and were told he was a reactive dog. He lacked socialization, confidence, boundaries, and was very distrusting of strangers due to the trauma in his past. We were starting to feel discouraged since we wanted Butter to live a happy life. Fast forward to finding Brittany, Shelby, and Kaitlyn. Shelby was the first person who has ever given Butter a chance (or even interacted with him in the first place) and reassured us that he could be helped. Almost 6 months later, we have done both a 6 week and 2 week board and train program as well as several at home lessons (which we are still actively involved in). Butter bonded quickly with all three trainers and started to make progress with his behavior. A training plan was customized for Butter to work on our goals. He has improved leaps and bounds since working with The Accomplished Canine. Brittany and Shelby treat him like their own and go above and beyond to help all the dogs they work with. They are incredibly knowledgable about what they do and the balanced training method they use has helped tremendously with Butter’s confidence. If you are looking for the ABSOLUTE BEST dog trainers in Indianapolis, don’t hesitate to sign up for a program at The Accomplished Canine…I promise you and your dog won’t regret it!

I am so happy with the results with my dog Chase after training with the accomplished K9! Brittany and Shelby loved my dog and trained him really well with positive reinforcement. They are very communicative and helped us through every step of the way. After our 3 week board and train Chase did a 2 week boarding with the accomplished k9 where they also worked on some training! Chase is like a brand new dog! I would recommend using their training services and will use their services again in the future.

We took my 2 year old pitty mix for the 3 week board and train. She came back a completely different dog on a leash, and they worked on increasing her confidence and socialization skills with other dogs. Brittney took the time to figure out which walking tools would work with our girl. Brittney also made sure that she was 100% ready to go home prior to leaving training, and she genuinely cares about the progress of the dogs she is training. Definitely recommend!!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

It’s always been my goal to stay affordable. I never want to price gouge my clients and will only sell packages that will benefit the dog.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have a passion for making sure dogs and families can co-exist peacefully. My first dog was actually a rescue. After seeing how many dogs are in shelters for just lacking basic manners, I was determined to make sure I could help as many owners and dogs as possible.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Meet with them! Make sure you and the trainer are on the same page. Be honest and up front! We can’t fix things we don’t know of!
