My services for your cat(s) include playtime/companionship, brushing, feeding, daily litter cleanup, & medication application if needed. Bringing in packages & mail is part of my service. Your house will appear as if you are home & monitored while you are away. I want you to be confident in me. I have been background checked by Thumbtack. I provide photos & feedback for your peace of mind. My customers enjoy knowing their cat(s) are comfortable and happy. A consultation “meet n greet” is a time to become acquainted & see if we are compatible. At this time I can share references of past & present clients as well as answer any questions you may have. Wow! After pretty extensive searching for a professional and trustworthy pet sitter for my new cat, I chose to hire Lainey after reading all of her wonderful reviews. She is so friendly and I felt comfortable giving the keys to my apartment to her after meeting her just once. Since I've been on vacation I've received pictures of my cat every day which definitely eases my anxiety about how she's doing while I'm away. She texts me every day to tell me she's been to visit my kitty, so I know she's being taken care of. She did ask as well if I'd like pictures and daily updates and also asked what time I'd like her to visit while I'm gone. I love that she's considerate of different preferences that everyone might have! Overall, she has made my vacation so much less stressful and I'm so glad I found her. She's definitely going to be my go-to in the future for any of my pet sitting needs!

We only needed Lainey for a few days but she was great! We have two big dogs that are very excited to go on walks. They adored Lainey! She was very responsible and we would highly recommend her for anyone looking her a pet sitter, or dog walker!!

Alaine comes weekly to walk my two pups....She is very reliable and I know genuinely cares for my dogs... I feel very comfortable with Alaine with my pets, as well as in my home. I know my dogs are definitely two of her biggest fans! I would definitely recommend Alaine for your pets needs.

Lainey did such a great job taking care of my cat over the thanks giving weekend. It was my first trip away from him since we moved to illinois so I was nervous with a new pet sitter. My cat bonded to Lainey right away and she sent me daily updates. He was happy and healthy when I arrived home. I'm so happy to have found her!

I price per (30 min or 60 min) visit unless my customer requests additional time or services. Prices vary according to number of pets and distance traveled.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to set up a consultation with a potential client. This usually involves an initial phone conversation or text message. A home visit also called a "meet n greet" follows prior to the actual "starting date" for introductions and confirmations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education is in healthcare. I feel blessed to work within the Special Needs community helping others navigate their “personal best.” My role is that of Direct Support Personnel (DSP) providing assistance & care to those in need. Compassion & care are strengths which help me serve clients & pets alike.
