- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Cornerstone bills for most jobs based on a time & material basis. Hourly rates are $75/hr for licensed plumber, and $55/hr for apprentices/helpers. Normally collected on departure, the total bill is calculated based on hours worked to complete work, and the total cost of all used materials. The exception to this is estimated jobs, where we do our best to complete the work in order to meet or lower the agreed estimate price. However, any plumbing work inherently carries known and unknown factors and risks. For this reason, estimates are not binding as a price cap for work done, and may be exceeded if unforeseen cost increases occur.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We arrive at location and discuss work needed or wanted with the customer. We answer any questions and talk about the options available. We either gain approval to start work based on time and material basis, or gather information required to compose an estimate to present to the customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Work is performed by a licensed plumber, which required 4 years of schooling, apprenticeship, and training. Total experience is 8 years plumbing
