Introduction
We offer basic obedience, advanced obedience, behavior modification, Service Dog and Therapy dog training. We specialize in reactive and aggressive dogs and train in either in-home packages or in our facility for a day camp option. All of our training packages include group classes, where the training is reinforced and there's opportunity for continued confidence building and socialization for your pup. Life is better with a well trained dog!

We cannot emphasize enough how much we recommend DTE. We had known for sometime that we wanted extensive training for our dog struggling with anxiety but always felt hesitant about an extended board and train. When we learned about DTEs two week camp it was exactly what we were looking for. Two weeks of consistent training that allowed us to still pick up our pup at the end of each day. We were reassured that we made the right decision when our pup was jumping out of bed and excited to get into class every morning.One of the biggest things that stood out to us throughout this program was the level of communication and expertise shown by staff. Everyday at drop off and pick up we were welcomed to share details of our pups performance at home and (more importantly) ask questions. The training staff was always willing and happy to help. Not once did we feel rushed. In addition, we received progress updates at the end of each day and advice for training at home. My personal favorite items were the training videos we received each day. It brightened my day that anytime I started to miss my pup, I could check for a video to see how he was doing with new skills and detailed instructions for me as his handler.We are extremely proud of the progress our pup made within the two weeks and look forward to continuing his training with his in-home lessons and group classes. Thank you DTE trainers for loving, teaching, and caring for our little guy.

Doug, Elijah, and the DTE team exceeded all expectations. They made the training process fun and enjoyable for both me and my dog. I opted for the in-home program followed by group classes to reinforce the training. My biggest takeaway was to incorporate the teachings into a game, keeping my dog engaged and encouraged. We're excited to continue working with the team and highly recommend them for anyone seeking a professional dog training service.

After researching many training options for our 5-month-old miniature schnauzer, we contacted Dog Training Elite Carmel/Fishers. They conducted a free in-home assessment to understand our goals for our puppy. We made the right choice! Our puppy enjoyed the 2-week training camp, and we will continue to take group classes and pursue their therapy dog training for her. Each trainer was loving and knowledgeable! I felt very supported by all of the staff. They give you the tools and resources to continue working on behavior at home. Our puppy, Charli, was excited to go to camp every single day!

Everyone who works at DTE is of the utmost professionalism and courteousness. The level of knowledge is amazing and I could not ask for a better team to work not only training the dogs, but the owners as well. The compassion and generosity experienced was so wonderful. Doug and his team are fantastic. They care a lot about the welfare of your dog, but also your long term relationship with your dog. It shows through their training.
