I get results where others fail. I am consistently contacted by clients who've spent hundreds of dollars and months/years of hard work on other methods... only to have little to no results. Within the first ten minutes clients are often amazed at what a new training approach can accomplish with their dog. I love the look on peoples faces when their dog starts listening to them, off leash, under distraction! They are amazed it can happen so fast! You can literally see them start to love their dog more!

Lee is a very knowledgeable and effective trainer. His teaching background is a great asset; he was patient and explained his techniques well. I reached out to Lee when my loveable yet very stubborn Wheaton terrier mix (40lb) increased in aggressive behaviors.Treat training definitely spiked the intensity and number of aggressive behaviors, and Lee was the only trainer I found who did not use that approach. I felt very comfortable entrusting him with Bear for a week of in-home training. I really appreciated the videos and updates while he was there that showed me he was making progress. Bear is definitely less hyperactive, responds to commands without the use of treats, and overall respects that we are his alphas. I'm very grateful to have found Lee and would recommend him to anyone looking to train their dogs effectively!

We hired Lee to train our two pups who are older and very stubborn. We wanted to ensure the safety of our infant daughter. Lee's training is different than past ones I have used in the best way possible - what a difference in our two dogs after just 3 days! Lee knows so much about dog behavior and how to counteract all their bad habits. He teaches you very clearly how to keep the training going yourself afterwards. I would absolutely recommend this trainer to anyone - even with older 'untrainable' dogs!

Millie and I are looking forward to our next training which will be our third. She is responding so well to the training that I feel I have a great dog in the making. Millie is listening and following commands and not getting into trouble constantly. She respects me and comes to me for affection and approval. Lee is the third trainer I have hired and I know I will not need anyone else. He really makes it clear what I need to do and why. I would highly recommend him and have purchased time with him for my daughter and son-in-law's Vizsla.

We got our puppy, Sophia Rae, on February 23, 2015. She was exactly 8 weeks from the day she was born. She is a beautifulCream Retriever and her parentsare both well over 80 lbs. so we know Sophia will be a rather large dog as well. When we got her, she was so full of energy but also very aggressive. She would nip, bite, bark constantly, jump up on people, pull on and actually eat our clothes, was not able to take walks with us, etc. She was totallyuncontrollable. And we have two grandbabies that are 1 and 3 and we didn't want Sophia to attack either of them! My husband and I were at our wits end because she was not learning from us and she refused to listen to the word ''NO'. She had total control over our household at just 2 months and 14 lbs! We knew we had to do something to teach her to become a very manageable and loving puppy because she was growing fast! We searched the internet and found Thumbtacks and then found Lee Seibold's Dog Training Website. We checked out his videos and were amazed at what Lee could do in a matter of minutes... all without any treats! So we immediately got in touch with him and decided to drop Sophia off at Lee's home for one week, not only to give us a break, but also to see what he could do with Sophia. We picked her up one week later and Lee spent well over an hour with us teaching us what he had taught Sophia... at less than 3 months old! We were literally amazed when he finally brought Sophia out! She was a totally different puppy! No more jumping up on anyone, no more biting, chewing on clothes, no more barking! Lee was able in one week to do what we could have never done! He taught her to sit, stay, get on her bed and stay there, go in her crate at night without a fuss, walk ...off leash..., stay..'off leash', take walks with us without pulling on her chain, 'stay' at the door to be let out or let in using our commands, and actually knew our commands! And Sophia loves US even more for all the love and praise that we give her when she's being good and our adorable puppy! Sophia is still so very much our 'silly heart puppy' and loves to run and play ball and everything else you'd expect a puppy to do, but in one week she went from an awful aggressive alpha puppy to a very well behaved puppy! We now can take her out to public places and know she will be good and well behaved. We get many, many compliments from many, many people on how good and well behaved Sophia is at such a young age!!! Yay! We would definitely recommend Lee to anyone that needs a lesson or two in training your puppy or dog! Lee has a life time guarantee on his training just in case your puppy creeps back to its 'old habits' of trying to be the alpha dog!!!! LEE, we cannot thank you enough for teachingSophia AND US that WE are the alpha dogs, not HER, and for still keeping her spirits up at the same time so she can still be our very 'Silly Heart Sophia'!!!!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't offer "basic" training or one-off sessions. Basic training and individual training sessions set you up for failure. Even if you gain some temporary results, training a dog takes more than just an hour of knowledge and skill. The only way for an individual training session will work is if the dog is already fully trained, and then maintaining good behavior and obedience is the focus.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every client and dog participate in the same "Perfect Dog Boot Camp" program. This is because no other approach will be able to guarantee you results. One off sessions generally won't be able to provide you with the results you need. Not only that, but there's so much more potential to your relationship with your dog that you'd be missing out on. I love training dogs to their full potential so they can live the happiest life possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Kinesiology. I was a teacher before I found my calling to help dogs.
