- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do NOT charge more if a window is very large or very hard to reach. We have a fixed rate we charge per window. This fixed rate includes the frames and the sills of the window as well as the glass.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would first introduce myself via text/call or through the thumbtack app and inquire on exactly what service they are potentially looking to get done. From there I will usually request to do a free in person estimate where I go around the property and get an idea of what we will be working with (I can also give a free estimate virtually if you let me know how many windows you have and send a couple photos of the property). From there I would let the customer know how much I would do the service for. If the price makes sense to the customer we can then schedule a date and time to complete the job and let them know approximately how long the job would take. I will always send a reminder text the day of the job as well.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
To me, repetition is training. We have cleaned thousands of windows at this point and have encountered homes with extremely complex layouts (some homes with 100+ windows).
