FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I guarantee my work. If there seems to be a note that is still flat or sharp after tuning, I will make another visit absolutely free of charge. I personally remember too well the feeling of having an instrument still not tuned to my specification. I was basically left out of luck before investing in my own professional tuning equipment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I make out a check list via phone and instant messaging, to get a feel for anything specifically needing attention on the customer's instrument before actually coming out to a scheduled tuning. The more details I can glean from a customer ahead of time, the more time it will often save the customer once the job has begun.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to a four year fine arts institution for music and music industry/business. Upon completion of my degree at Stephen F. Austin State University, I went on to complete a music practicum and actually studied privately with an industry leader from ASCAP.
